An aging crimp machine is to be modernized. Components for aircraft production are then processed.
The current machine is constructed in a complicated manner with large mechanisms (cylinders, oscillating disks, etc.). A change of type means a setup time of 4-12 hours.
The new system should be universally usable and work with robots.
In the case of a type change, the new type should be selected at the HMI and the machine is then fully automatically adjusted to the new type.
