Connector inspection Project type: Automatisation Date 2020 In a fully automated production line, automotive plugs are designed for correct assembly and material damage is controlled. For each machine, there are two lines that run in varietal form. The following criteria should be checked: • Correct seat of the red seal (height) • Correct seat of the red seal (not twisted) • Pinpoints - correct height • Damage due to assembly - pin tips • Deformation - pin tips • Core fracture - pin tips • Missing components - red seal • Missing components, white cap • Not fully injected - detent
